The Sutter Buttes - California State Parks

In 2003, California State Parks acquired property on the north side of the Sutter Buttes, representing a unique resource within the State Park System. On April 8, 2005, the State Park and Recreation Commission classified the Sutter Buttes project as a “State Park,” recognizing its significant natural, cultural, geologic, scenic, and recreational resource values.
